Don’t just take our word for it..

  • “I just want to thank SIC for the amazing advice that I have received over the past few months. I initially contacted SIC, as I was unsure about how to approach discussing reasonable adjustments with a placement provider. The advice they gave me made me feel so reassured and now I feel confident advocating for my needs.

I am also grateful for the advice I received when I attended the SIC 'Career Clinic' about tips on being self-employed and finding accessible part-time work. The team are really encouraging to have a wealth of knowledge! I really appreciate Rachael's interview tips and CV review too.”

  • “Whilst volunteering at SIC, I’ve gained the experience and confidence I needed to apply for a Masters in Publishing. I’ve also been offered a part-time job as an Editorial Assistant. Joining the team has been life-changing. I’m so grateful to the company, for providing me with the skills I need to pursue the career I want, and I honestly can’t recommend working/volunteering for SIC enough.”

    — Kellie Smith, Editorial Assistant Trainee

  • “My internship has not only allowed me to consolidate my existing skills but allow me to gain experience with a myriad of software and have the opportunity to learn about marketing and PR. SIC has been a wonderful and supportive work community that I have felt so lucky to have to work with and be a part of. This internship has given me the experience and confidence to apply for future internships and other schemes in my future.”

    - Saffron Sharp, Marketing and PR Intern

  • “Working for SIC has been an incredible experience where I’ve grown in confidence and knowledge in a supportive environment.
